* * *      Terms & Conditions      * * *
By submitting to Scribes*MICRO*Fiction, you agree that the contribution is your own work and you have the right to make it available for publication without infringing on other copyrights, including those agreements entered into from prior publication(s)  (in the case of reprints). We will not publish works that have been plagarized or contain plagarized elements; that contain any form of hate speech against any people, culture, nationality, race, gender, sexual preference/identity, or religion; or that result in any other rights infringement not specifically mentioned here. Any breach of these conditions will result in your work being removed from our website. You also agree to indemnify Scribes*MICRO*Fiction against all legal fees and damages that might arise from publication of your work that is in breach of these conditions.

Upon acceptance, the editors have the author's permission to apply light copyedits to the accepted work
for clarity and precision. Any changes more significant than light copyedits must be presented to and approved by the author prior to publication. In addition, you agree to allow Scribes*MICRO*Fiction to keep your work publicly available on our website for a minimum of 6 months. After 6 months, if you would like to have your work removed from our website, you can write to our editors, and we will remove it shortly after we receive notice.

We prefer to publish writing that doesn't contain excessive profanity; a word here or there is permissible, but we might ask you to modify the language of an accepted work if deemed by the editors to be too explicit.

All rights remain with the author, and you are welcome to submit your work elsewhere at any time before or after acceptance and publication of your work. However, if first published on Scribes*MICRO*Fiction and republished elsewhere, we ask you to attribute first publication of your work to Scribes*MICRO*Fiction.

If you have any questions not covered by the terms & conditions as laid out here, please email our editors at Scribes.Micro@gmail.com.
