Stephanie Miraglia trained as a physicist before deciding she liked writing better.
She misses being an adolescent—the heady rush of emotion, the tragi-sweet poignancy of each moment, the utter conviction that adults just don't get it (which she still thinks)—and writes to escape back to that time.
Her favorite reads are middle grade and young adult. She enjoys writing stories about hidden worlds and the importance of the choices we make. Her last story featured the argumentative teen daughter of Hades, God of the Underworld. Currently, she’s working on a novel about a boy who starts out in his room working on a homework assignment, but ends up lost in the forest and must figure out how to get home.
Stephanie lives happily in Vermont with her never-a-dull-moment family. Her sons have nearly reached adulthood; happily, both in one piece.
