Scott Bogart’s first ever accepted fiction piece “Almost late for it,” was published by ScribesMICRO in October of 2022. Prior to this, his writing had appeared exclusively as nonfiction in police reports, and on the gory pages of homicide case files. Following his initial publication, Scott’s writing has gone on to see continued success, appearing regularly in journals and magazines. Now, retired after more than two decades in law enforcement, his focus is on staying active and fit, and enjoying his many hobbies. He truly enjoys his role as a submissions editor with the ScribesMICRO team and especially enjoys seeing new writers achieve their first publications. Originally from Conneaut, Ohio, Scott now lives along the South Carolina coast, and in keeping with his U.S. Navy background, still spends a fair amount of time on the ocean. |
