Mary Keating has been published in several journals and anthologies, including ScribesMICRO, Wordgathering, Santa Fe Writer’s Project and Poetry for Ukraine. After becoming a paraplegic as a teenager, she found poetry a great way to raise awareness of how disabled people are treated. Mary writes on a variety of topics. If you read enough of her work, you’ll find her humor running through it, even when she considers the most serious of topics. |
A graduate of Yale Law School, Mary runs her own law firm in Darien, CT focusing on Real Estate Law, Estate Planning and Probate. She lives with her husband Dan in nearby Rowayton, and dreams of one day becoming poet laureate of the United States.
