Jonah Newman is a Brooklyn-based writer, artist, and editor. He has written, illustrated, and self-published a graphic novel and many short comics, and is currently working on a graphic memoir. Professionally, he is an assistant editor at Scholastic, where he works on picture books and graphic novels, including Dav Pilkey's Captain Underpants and Dog Man series. When he's not drawing, reading, or editing graphic novels, he binges history podcasts and gets way too invested in his fantasy baseball team. His grandmother, Estelle Margolis, taught him that love is all that matters.
